PDFs in Firefox

        Apparently Firefox has an issue with rendering PDF files, some text not being shown properly on my computer. If you experience this bug, please use a different browser. Several other browsers have been tried and they all show PDF files without this problem.
      
Downloading
        It has come to our attention that lately the Firefox web browser downloads PDF files by default instead of just opening them as other browsers do.

        This means that you need to open your downloads folder to see the content of the file.

        To change this so that PDF files open in a new window on your computer, proceed as follows -

Goto Tools - Options
Scroll down to Applications and select PDF.
In the drop down list select "Open in Firefox".
